A SHOOTING RPG WITH A UNIQUE STAGE STRUCTURE
Dream Star Monster Arcade is a shooting RPG with a unique stage structure. Set in islands where the player’s and enemy’s fields are separated, intercept the enemies who attack by shooting or flying in the sky! Let’s break through many stages by fully using the effects of various items, the build-in stage, and the permanent training menu, such as changing and strengthening equipment.

SHOOTING BATTLE WITH FEROCIOUS MONSTERS
Enemy monsters are on the opposite island and attack with shots, or fly in the sky and launch melee attacks. The player operates the character to avoid it, and then stops the character to attack the enemy with a shot. In addition to this shot, let’s destroy the monsters on the island by using in-stage builds that increase attack power, etc., and by picking up items dropped by enemies to interfere with them.
FEATURES A STAGE CONFIGURATION SET ON AN ISLAND
Fantasy island graphics. A permanent training menu is also available. The game’s flow is similar to that of Archer’s, but the stage is divided in the middle of the screen. It’s frustrating that you can’t get close to the enemy, but you can drop items such as tornadoes and bombs from the enemy, and you can use the item gimmick to interfere with and attack the enemy. However, I was worried that there were only three build elements in the stage and there was no change in shot style.

STRENGTHEN YOUR CHARACTER BY UPGRADING YOUR STATUS WITH EQUIPMENT AND FUNDS
Characters can gain experience points in the stage and level up, increasing attack power, defense power, and acquired funds. This build resets every time, but as you progress through the game, you can acquire weapons such as knives and axes to replace or upgrade. There is also a training menu that consumes funds and randomly raises the status, and since these are permanent, it is good to train the character steadily and prepare for the next stage.
RIPS FOR EARLY STAGE STRATEGY
A strengthening menu is locked at the start of the game, so clear the stage to unlock it. Also, if you clear the WAVE in the stage, you can temporarily strengthen either the character’s attack power, defense power, or acquired funds. As long as the enhancement menu isn’t open, it’s a good idea to upgrade either offense or defense.

USE DROP ITEMS EFFECTIVELY
Collect items while dodging enemy attacks. Defeating an enemy in a stage will drop various items with a certain probability. In addition to potions that restore physical strength, some items cause tornadoes and drop bombs on islands where enemies are. It is effective to move the character to pick them up while avoiding the enemy’s attack, and to stop the character and shoot while the enemy is flinching.
